AFAIK, dhcp should find that server automatically and fill out > resolv.conf with the proper values.
If it can't find the DHCP - or doesn't trust what it returns. I've got a DSL router that is supposed to provide DNS forwarding, and so the internal DHCP reports the router as the nameserver. Unfortunately the forwarding breaks sometimes, requiring me to go direct to the ISPs nameserver instead. Simon.
