Hi All,
I have been out of contact for a while. I posted three or four messages and got no replies. I thought I may have run out of free vouchers but it turns out my mail server was not sending my mail because of bind problems. Before I figured that out I broke my system disk mirror and loaded FC5 on the other disk so I would have a usable system on which to continue building my [CB]LFS workstation. I'm hoping you folks can give me a clue as to what to do so I don't have to start all over. I built gnome from the stable 6.1 book and then switched to the dev book for other packages so i have a hoge poge of versions but most of gnome is version 2.10 but ORBit2 is 2.14. I was logging in and noticed the themes menu. I decided to try out some of the other options and the look and feel did change but only once no mater which theme I tried. I looked around to find a way back to where I was when I first built gnome but never found the key. Right now my main menu is different. The task bar no longer shows icons for the open windows so if I close a window I can't open it again even with ALT TAB. So can anyone tell me how to get back to "default" without blowing away my entire account and starting from scratch. I am assuming at this point that the problem is with my account rather than gnome although it looks like there is a problem with that as well because the other themes all look the same as the rest of them and that doesn't work but right now I'll settle for getting back my default theme that was working till I tried changing it.

I think you did get my post about gaim segfaulting with out dumping core. Hmm, maybe not. I don't remember getting any reply to that message either. Anyway I'll post a report on what I got from the gaim support list about that once I get to the end of it. That is strange. They asked me if I had changed my theme. I'm not sure why that would cause a segfault. I'll post the other issues I'm having as soon as I figure out what they were. I have lost track while trying to get FC5 working. Thanks for any help you can give me on this gnome theme thing.
