Hi.

Somehow, it is working...

My buildconfig:
Build platform
       target
       i686-pc-linux-gnu

Build tools
       Compiler       Version       Compiler flags
       gcc       gc
c version 4.1.1       -Wall -W -Wno-unused -Wpointer-arith -Wcast-align -Wno-long-long -pedantic -O3 -march=athlon-tbird -pipe -ffast-math -fomit-frame-pointer -fPIC -pthread -pipe
       c++       gcc version 4.1.1       -fno-rtti -fno-exceptions -Wall -Wconversion -Wpointer-arith -Wcast-align -Woverloaded-virtual -Wsynth -Wno-ctor-dtor-privacy -Wno-non-virtual-dtor -Wno-long-long -pedantic -O3 -march=athlon-tbird -pipe -ffast-math -fomit-frame-pointer -fPIC -fshort-wchar -pthread -pipe

Configure arguments --enable-application=browser --prefix=/usr --with-system-zlib --with-system-png --with-system-jpeg --enable-system-cairo --enable-official-branding --enable-canvas --enable-svg --enable-strip --disable-tests --disable-installer --disable-accessibility

This is pretty much the same than before, but I disabled nss/nspr, as the build failed. Strange, as it had worked before. Gmail works fine (and fast!) and my bank lets me log out. I think that it was my fault. After every rebuild, I removed the builddir, but not /usr/lib/firefox- so perhaps the configuration was messy. The only pity is that the source only includes en_US locales, and as you can guess, English is not my mother tongue. But I haven't found source locales or an xpi so...

Thanks a lot

  Alberto
