http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/view/svn/general/dbus.html D-Bus has been in BLFS for some time now, although only in the development version (i.e what will be 6.2). The stable version 6.1 is pretty old now, and somewhat predates the widespread adoption of D-Bus and related projects. Simon.
