I pulled down 4 altogether. I hope there wasn't any special instructions or patches I missed by doing it on my own. As it turned out they all compiled fine as long as you do them in the correct order. I like the way you guys supply the dependencies list. It saves us novices a lot of time and headaches. Thanks. Ken, I hope you are reading this. It doesn't make any sense to me at all but adding those libs did it. I can now watch SG1 on my CLFS/BLFS system. :-) Thank you again. This list is GREAT! Another question for all, can I expect all DVDs to have the same format or am I going to run into some DVD some time that I am going to have to load more software to play? OK, two questions, is there a list somewhere that will tell me what codec/lib/software I need to have loaded to play different format audio/video files? I still can't play my .wmv files and I know at some point I will want to play .avi files and others. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.3 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFFLAncI9lqJPlLBqQRAo7EAJ9iwzOqoPobmHNhsqkD5UZ2RF8lcgCfblkK Uo0GNtN1vlJvQPRJx/KTXhU= =MRXT -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
