Hello again, I found part of the problem.
Since I make use of the package user system I also use build scripts. In this particular case this build script makes things go wrong. When in install by hand, with the exact same commands from the script it seems to go allright. Any way it got past the problem I had. Thing is I don't know why my script wouldn't work. I will attach the build script, maybe someone can understand the problem. The script is launched from the users homedirectory. Hi there I have some problems with compilnig openoffice-2.0.3 from BLFS-20061028. I have installed all required and recommendend without problem. My configure command had the following options: ./configure --prefix=/opt/openoffice-2.0.3 --enable-libart \ --enable-libsn --disable-fontooo --disable-gnome-vfs --without-fonts \ --with-system-stdlibs --with-system-freetype --with-system-expat \ --with-system-libxml --with-system-zlib --with-system-mozilla \ --with-firefox --with-build-version=BLFS --with-package-format=native \ --disable-binfilter --disable-cups --with-jdk-home=$JAVA_HOME \ --with-ant-home=$ANT_HOME I added the --with-jdk-home and --with-ant-home because it wouldn't find them automatically. The configure runs just fine when I run the dmake it exists with the following error: ============= Building project boost ============= /usr/src/packages/office/OOC680_m7/boost mkout -- version: 1.6 /usr/src/packages/office/OOC680_m7/boostdmake: Executing shell macro: -$(CXX) $( CFLAGSVERSION_CMD) dmake: Executing shell macro: -$(CXX) $(CFLAGSNUMVERSION_CMD) dmake: /usr/src/packages/office/OOC680_m7/solenv/inc/rules.mk: line 638: Erro r: -- Multiply defined recipe for target OOo_2.0.3-system_mozilla_fixes-1.patch '---* RULES.MK *---' '---* *---' ERROR: Error 65280 occurred while making /usr/src/packages/office/OOC680_m7/boos t dmake: Error code 1, while making 'build_instsetoo_native' I couldn't find something like this on the mailinglist. I am using the package user system. But this problem doesn't seem to be caused by the package user system. Hopefully someone can put me in the right direction. Thanks Already Herman Gerritsen
