This seems relevant for 2.14, too. Looking at /usr/share/dbus-1/services, I have services from gnome-power-manager and epiphany, and those are both in the current book. Oh wait, we don't have gnome-power-manager, and Randy put in a blurb about symlinking to the dbus services directory for epiphany. So, long story short is that this shouldn't be an issue for the current book, but we always need to check that anything using a dbus service script installs it to a location that dbus knows about. Perhaps a note in the dbus configuration section about adding alternate services directories to /etc/dbus-1/system.conf could help. -- Dan -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
