BLFS team has done great job with all these servers (mail, web, dns, ftp.....) All these servers are also used at "work" pc's. You are right. It's not hard to build fax software - I personaly managed to do it. I just thought that maybe others want fax servers at their work or home. And finaly, I think we shouldn't compare fax machines with fax servers. Fax servers have so many advantages that couldn't listed here. If you've ever use winfax for windows you know what I mean.
