That error just means you get no acceleration, you should still get the screen.. See if there are any fatal errors, or any other than DRI or font errors? Did you build the correct driver? I managed to forgot i810 from my Xorg 6.9.0 (Because it wasn't listed on the possible drivers list in BLFS!! Please add it...) Try change the driver to vesa in Xorg.conf. It may be a bug in the driver also..
