Actually, I'm fond of lynx. I don't use it for everyday browsing, of
course, but I have it configured to show numbers to jump to in the links
(i.e., no need to use arrows).

I did that. I had no trouble to reach the proper link, but upon pressing
return it doesn't start downloading, it just jumps to the start of the
page.
