I seriously think your topic is based on ignorance. SUN is not
assholeness. Your ignorance in how to download what you need is in
subject. It took 5 clicks to get what I needed with the link you
provided from BLFS. Once you understand how each corporation's web
site is laid out, you won't feel as bad. The fact that you put SUN
assholeness, then eventually find what you find, makes you possibly
assholeness. So before you put SUN in your assholeness category, I
suggest your thank SUN for providing what you download and that they
actually provide a run time environment for you to download without
even having you register for it, like you do with the source
download. SUN is not assholeness.
The BLFS instructions even tell you that SUN provides the "Runtime
Environemnt." You go to the runtime environment link and download it.
