Thanks for your response, Alessandro.
But I have not followed exactly which patch is to be applied.
Or are all these seds to be applied only?
I am installing OOo_2.0.3_src.tar.gz as given in the book. Although, I have 
gcc-4.1.2 also.
Where did you find sources for OOo_2.1.0 ? I searched the net but I could 
not locate this.
Will be happy to hear from you further.
