I always had interpreted your signature (and without even look in google) as:

"Whatever starts as a tragedy, it ends up as a farce"

This is how we use it in my country.

It's quite optimistic actually and adequately reflects my unhidden desires.

I believe it will come a day (soon or later), that all the wounds of the past,
will then become the port to our happiness.
