It's a little poorly structured. There should be a separate downloading section with the wget filelist. Instead, it's the first command. For instance, in Xorg Utilities: wget http://anduin.linuxfromscratch.org/files/BLFS/xorg/util-7.2.wget So, to answer the question, the lists are here: http://anduin.linuxfromscratch.org/files/BLFS/xorg/ And the order is definitely important. If you want to try different versions of packages, you can try to just find the appropriate package and change the version of the tarball.
