Yes, you do. I use the attached script to do the job - setup the various mounts, enter a chroot shell, then clean everything up when the shell exits. E.g as root, ./enter_chroot /dev/sda5 /mnt/lfs You might need to customise it for your needs, e.g it mounts /home into the chroot, which you may or may not want. Simon.
