Hello,
I decided to download lynx after all but found that the md5 is incorrect.
I checked the website and found that periodically the maintainers will release
a new version without changing the version number. The link provided in the
book is not stable; periodically it may be replaced with a different file.
The book should use the links at http://http://lynx.isc.org/current/ as these
include an additional release number (example: lynx2.8.6rel.5.tar.bz2) and are
most likely stable.
