Hello,

Built several LFS/BLFS for my Dell Inspiron 8100 laptop (i815 chipset,
i82801 bridge, nVidia NV11 GeForce2 video, ES1983S sound); last one with
Xorg 7.1. Running fine (althoug if you want video acceleration, you must
use proprietary binary driver from nVidia).

Also implemented WiFi (with WPA-PSK) with a NetGear GA511 PCMCIA card;
working fine using ndiswrapper and the windows driver.

Not faced any problems during the build (I have cross-built most of
these systems on a much faster desktop, just to save time). Of course,
you have to identify the components of your hardware (lspci, dmesg) and
select the corresponding kernel and xorg modules.

Enjoy !
