Initially, try starting it with a window-decorator, ie:- compiz --replace & emerald --replace & ...Though i suspect it's more likely an X-server configuration issue. I've successfully done this on a Gentoo-box with a Radeon card, even getting KDE to use it instead on it's KWIN default from login, but have no experience with nVidia. > I have to point the fact that I use kdm as my window manager. > Strictly speaking, KDM is your *Display* Manager - KWIN is your window-manager (see above). > I read quite a lot of pages on the subject. With my setup, i'm not even sure i need the --replace option, but it's undocumented as far as i can tell, & i have higher priorities than fine-tuning Compiz-Fuzion at the moment. If the decorator addition doesn't help, i'll see if i can find some X-server tweaks for your card... taipan -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
