FWIW, I have certainly seen places where Links had better compatibility than Lynx. Check out this page: http://www.365tomorrows.com/ The navigation links are in an image map. Lynx just gives up, and doesn't render the links at all. Links manages to render them (albeit without any text--you have to navigate to the link and see what the URL is to guess where it goes).
