 I can't even find how it gets into the library!  The code might as
well be written in runic ( a nice example of the runic glyphs is at
http://junicode.sourceforge.net/Runic.html ).  I'm simultaneously
impressed with the ability to use a so-called scripting language to
write what is apparently a desktop applet, horrified by the
number of other modules it needs but doesn't test for, and shocked
by how hard it is to understand.
