it's just ONE question (grin):
no. i don't use it (yet), not with python and not with any other language.
swig itself is easy to install:
download swig 1.3.35
./configure --prefix=/usr
make
make install
in /usr/share/swig/1.3.39/python you'll find quite some stuff. but
nothing in /usr/lib/python where i'd expect to find the bindings.
don't ask me where to get "swig-python-bindings", google didn't help
within the first minute, and more time i won't spend for now.
if you want subversion with python/swig, it should be integrated
automagically when python and swig are available when building
suversion. at least i interpret it from:
http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/view/svn/basicnet/subversion.html
as this handles subversion 1.5.4 where current is 1.6.3 just give it a try!
