Sometimes, my google-foo is badly broken : I had a look for
an upstream fix when Matt originally posted, but found
nothing. After boring myself to death reading through the
debian bug report you mentioned (I'd seen half of it on
lkml, without realising it affected strace), I got lucky with my
search arguments.[ strace socket.h ] :

 Can't test the patch at the moment (it's on the 'raw'
option at the top of the gitweb screen) because I'm
still in chapter 5, and on current progress some days
