Hi folks, greets from New Zealand Just built my first LFS today (and i mean ALL day). I decided it would be the best way to learn about the beast.
My ultimate goal is to create a LFS with lzma and squashfs and then run the linux live scripts against it to produce a livecd. The result would be similiar to the slax distro whereby i could create an .lzm package which is mounted as opposed to installed. The benefit of this is the package is simply unmounted for removal. Can somebody that has a good understanding give me a brief description of what i might have to do? I am ok with creating LFS using the livecd and version 6.5 but what do i need to do about lzma and squashfs to achieve my goal? Kind Regards, Jay
