Greetings Some programs such as poetgresql seems to require the setting of the LD_LIBRARY_PATH envar. I ususlly do this as a normal user prior to compiling. There could be advantages in having this set 'permanently' in /etc/profile.d
QUESTION: Could there be any conflicts with setting a 'permanent' LD_LIBRARY_PATH in /etc/profile.d and keeping /etc/ld.so.conf up to date? advice welcomed lux-integ -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
