In the first place, for those of us using a threaded mail client, you've broken the threading which makes it harder to work out what you are referring to. In this case, I can see a reply to a digest, in which you said you were going to do something, so I assumed you had sorted out whatever you needed to know about lzma and squashfs. Personally, I wouldn't touch squashfs unless I was extremely desperate - I've known people mention problems with it, I've also heard people say it did just what they needed. Either way, it is not a package that many people will have used, so claiming that explaining what you need to do should be child's play seems wild of the mark. Apart from that, I didn't actually understand your original question (but then, I'm unlikely to be able to answer it).
