Hi How many times has this error been posted on the net, I dread to think. Despite numerous googles I can't find an answer. Can someone here help.
Running KDE4.4 on LFS6.5 the Akonadi server starts from console with 'akonadictl start' and 'akonadictl status' gives: Akonadi Control: running Akonadi Server: running Akonadi Server Search Support: not available but I get up to four > ten error windows saying 'nepomuk is not running' - fair enough BUT, akonadi on the panel says akonadi is not running and shows the following error in the server self test: Test 14: ERROR -------- No resource agents found. Details: No resource agents have been found, Akonadi is not usable without at least one. This usually means that no resource agents are installed or that there is a setup problem. The following paths have been searched: '/opt/kde/share/akonadi/agents /usr/share/akonadi/agents'. The XDG_DATA_DIRS environment variable is set to '/opt/kde/share:/usr/local/share:/usr/share:/opt/kde/share/akonadi/agents ', make sure this includes all paths where Akonadi agents are installed to. SO - is the server running or not? AND, is this error implicated in Nepomuk not functioning properly.
