I'm canceling all my subcriptions to lfs,blfs mailing lists.
It appears that the editors don't need or care to respond to
to suggestions from users that require some actual testing
rather than going by install scripts from wherever and 
erroneous assumptions . 

I used LFS without for a good many years without using a 
mailing list and will continue to do so.
