No such problem here, but you might poke around in startkde or the script prototype (kdebase workspace startkde.cmake) to examine where things may be going wrong for your setup. Very different things could happen whether starting via kdm or .xinitrc I saw Xorg-7.5 font switcheroo http://linuxfromscratch.org/pipermail/blfs-support/2010-March/066781.html in which the true type fonts can take a back seat in some setups. I found startkde, et. al., to be buggy for me with regard to not properly keeping the display settings across logouts http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=183143 and proposed a patch that works for me. I maybe don't have a ten duotrigintillionth of an idea how to program in kde, but since it looks so pretty in many respects, it is a shame how many little things can't get right. Sorry I can't suggest any better than "read the code". -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
