Gnome-VFS isn't built into Firefox. What the --disable-gnomevfs switch
does is it stops Firefox being compiled with the ability to use
gnome-vfs.

No, it's the other way around. Cups (and Firefox) work without crashing
If I compile cups to use gnutls and not openssl
