BLFS svn-20110219 gnome-terminal-2.30.2 without libgnome-2.30.0 fails to start outputing to console: ERROR:terminal-app.c:1451:terminal_app_init: assertion failed: (app->system_font_desc != NULL) When libgnome-2.30.0 installs, it runs ok. I'm not sure if that dependency goes without saying. My experience with the book is that all -run time and compile time- dependencies are explicitly stated.
