Greetings, I would be grateful for information on KEMAP settings and whether there are any correlations with the setings in /etc/profile/i18n. For example suppose I have the folowing local
LANG=en_US.UTF-8 (in /etc/profile/d/i18n.sh) and KEYMAP="us" (in /etc/sysconfig/console ) ----- Suppose I change the local to LANG=es_US-UTF-8 (also supported) are there any restrictions on the KEYMAPS that can be set in /etc/sysconfig/console ? ( In otherwords --what is to stop me from setting a locale with LANG with say = arabic- language (in /etc/profile.d/i18n.sh) but a KEYMAP for a latin keyboard in /etc/sysconfig/console? AND --should this matter?
