I have anyway a working version of Ghostscript with the built-in FreeType.
I consider LFS and BLFS as an educational project (apart of trying to install the newest Linux code on an old Apple machine), so I _like_ having problems, at least if I can solve them. Just copying the instructions from the book without any problem does not bring much expertise along.
