xinetd has not been updated since 2005.  I don't know why anyone would 
want it. It is basically a way to save memory by launching a program 
like apache, sshd, etc only on demand.   It is a rare system today that 
needs to save the memory used by not launching the daemon directly and 
leaving it resident in memory.
