Maybe, but I don't think perl modules are a priority area at the moment (unless someone else wants to pick it up). Until a couple of months ago, I had no problems upgrading to the latest version of any module. I think it was libwww-perl that caused me to rethink (its newer major version came with a load more dependencies that I don't need). For the moment, I need to get my 7.0 system bootable and then review some of the packages that use bootscripts.
