That problem is just a title issue that I'll fix shortly.

To be honest, I have not built udisks.  udisk2 is only needed for 
gnome-disk-utility and udisks is not required for kdelibs.  I'm not sure what 
these libraries are supposed to do.

Evidently from the book udisks only needs the device-mapper portion of lvm2.
