The instructions in svn do not currently generate 
70-persistent-net.rules.  This is caused by a change to udev.  I have a 
fix, but have not committed it yet.

The only reason you really need the file is if you have multiple network 
connections and you need to boot to that over a network.  The file is 
currently generated the first time the system is booted.
