Not really. I can't get xfce4-power-manager to even run. It keeps giving me: Cannot connect to system bus : Failed to connect to socket /var/run/dbus/system_bus_socket: Connection refused even though I have dbus running and system_bus_socket is has 777 permissions. Doing some googling, I think my files in /var/run/dbus/ are out of date, but I don't want to exit xfce right now to delete and retry. In any case, I don't use a laptop, so the power manager seems of little use to me. I use DPMS to set the screen saver. The .service reference is suspicious because I think that has something to do with systemd. There is the file /etc/dbus-1/system.d/org.freedesktop.UPower.conf that mentions org.freedesktop.UPower.Wakeups Sorry I can't be of more help. -- Bruce -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
