Is mx required by any package in the book?
I can no longer get 1.4.6 to compile. It gives:

If you click on the download URL you get to the gnome public ftp site and there
is no mx in the list of sources. So I can't find a later version than 1.4.6.
I think Cheese and Totem used to use it but it's not mentioned by those package
in v.3.6
If no package requires it, perhaps it could be removed from the book.
