 You get 6 ttys (section 7.7.1).  If you are building a graphical
desktop, you need to build Xorg, and then you can choose your
term(s) (I prefer rxvt-unicode) as well as your window manager(s).

 Similarly, you may want to build GNU screen for remote access.
