I have just completed a package that will control tyhe cpu freqeuncy
through the kernel.\
I have tested it on my old dell lapdog and it works very well there.
The following valid governors: ondemand, performance, powersave,
conservative and userspace work.

The executables are built from the kernel source tarball. I then added
a configuration file and a script.
After which I made an init script to run it at boot time. This would be
good for laptops/etc. It requires very little to add cpu frequency
control to BLFS.

Is anyone interested in putting it in the book?

If so I can pass all the info, scripts and executables as I don't know
how to make a page for the book.
