Hi there !

I have been working at KDE for some time now, and finally everything works -
allmost.

My first problem was to make Bluetooth work. I had installed the blueman-1.23 +
all dependencies, I got a very nice Bluetooth icon in the KDE desktop - and
absolutely nothing happened when I clicked on it. Then I examined the OpenSuSE
installation wich served as my host during compiling LFS. It has a working
Bluetooth interface in KDE, and it uses the bluedevil package. I installed this
package at my LFS system - and it worked very nicely in the first shot. This
just for your information, if anybody else out there is trying to get Bluetooth
to work. It might be worth to include in a coming version of BLFS.

My second problem is this: As long as I keep the normal login, I can log in as
root or as an unprivileged user, and start up KDE with startx. But when I set
the boot to start in runlevel 5, and automatically start up KDE, I can no
longer log in as root.

I know that I am poking my face into a beehive here, and I am well aware of the
dangers by logging in as root. It is possible on my SuSE system, and have never
given me any problems. And I ALLWAYS have a backup of my system. So PLEASY tell
me, how can I autostart KDE, and still log in as root ?

Niels
