Greetings I have just done a clfs build with gcc-4.8.0 and at the end gcc-4.8.1 was released. I would prefer to use gcc-4.8.1 without having to rebuild the whole shebang. So could I safely build this (as it were 'installing over' ) in BLFS? And If I can, what are the pitfalls?
and do I have to manually yank out this directory:- /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu/4.8.0 and if so when ? just-before root-installation of the newly compiled stuff ? or just-after? thanks in advance sincerely LuxInteg -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
