In this case, dhcp and bind have the same upstream, so we can be fairly certain that any problems in the bundled libs will be addressed.
You seem to be doing something differently. The first thing 'make' reports is that it is making all in bind, Configuring BIND Export libraries for DHCP, and then Building BIND Export libraries. I normally build dhcp without building all the server, but I've just done a straight configure, make, and DESTDIR install and it still builds fine.
