Hi all,
I'm having big problems making akonadi work. When I first build KDE (and
akonadi) I only had SQLite installed. Akonadi gave the well known error with
Boost Join, but I found that this problem seems to be solved in Akonadi 1.9.80.
Build without any problems, but when KDE was ready, I could not start any of
the PIM programs, as they attempt to start Akonadi I was getting a Database
driver not found error, and several other errors which I assume is a
consequence of the missing database driver.
I found several references that said that Akonadi will not work (well) with
SQLite. So I installed MySQL (and PHP and Apache, just to test that it was
working). I then tried to rebuild Akonadi and the programs that rely on it,
same result. I tried the next (and latest) version Akonadi 1.10.0. Same result.
I tried to delete any trace of Akonadi that I could find, and install it over.
This now gave a new error: Now the PIM programs did not even try to start
Akonadi - they just shut down immediately.
Now I am trying again to install KDE from the beginning. Akonadi 1.9.80 and
1.10.0 both compiles fine, but when I run "make test" I get:
