Ouch ... I give up now.

See again:

The Chromium projects include _Chromium_ and Chromium OS, the
_open-source projects behind the Google Chrome browser_ and Google
Chrome OS, respectively. This site houses the documentation and code
related to the Chromium projects and is intended for developers
interested in learning about and contributing to the open-source projects.

Chromium

_Chromium is an open-source browser project_ that aims to build a safer,
faster, and more stable way for all users to experience the web. This
site contains design documents, architecture overviews, testing
information, and more to help you learn to build and work with the
Chromium source code.

http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?keywords=chromium
https://www.archlinux.org/packages/?q=chromium

If you pay attention to package contents via web interface, you'll see
that executable is called "chromium", not "chrome".

Of course that Google will advertise its own Browser, but as I said,
Chrome is just Chromium with some proprietary stuff, like Google
branding, Flash Player and PDF viewer.
