It is not causing the problem, will not help for that, probably, but it is clearly missing (wrote wrong, before: s/clearing/clearly), as you have complaints in your log. > >> 2. In the logs I posted, GtkLauncher is clearly running curl, to play that site you want. > >> 3. java plugin: You need it, because the sites often use javascripts and >> flash together. As most browsers, midori have both "netscape plugins (NP) as they are named in midori" (eg, java from Oracle oe IcedTea-Web) and flash enabled or not, individually. Midori uses WKGT-1 (in my system). I can have http://www.adobe.com/swf/software/flash/about/flashAbout_info_small.swf working, if NP are disabled, and at http://www.adobe.com/swf/software/flash/about/ *only* flashAbout_info_small.swf (above, firs url) *runs*, not the other flash objects, applet, applications, don't know the name. But the site you were using does not play anything, with NP disabled. On the contrary with NP enabled and flash disabled, no flash works, of course. And everything works, if both are enabled, nothing, if both disabled. > > I will gladly download or build whatever java support is required - > I am simply amazed to find that this might be relevant. Building the three is the best way, I think, but with your current problem, I would first try Oracle's one. If Xulrunner is in the system, FireFox takes only 0.3 SBU (using instructions in the page to build against Xulrunner). >> I got a bad yesterday, this is the reason to replying only now. > > > I hope today is better.
