Some of us do, and for a long time we only had a development
version of BLFS. The stable releases of BLFS are only a snapshot of
how it was, and list things which are thought to work with that LFS
release. Meanwhile, vulnerabilities get fixed. Some of those
vulnerabilities might not be a likely risk to some users, but
certainly I would find it hard to recommend old versions of the
mozilla packages.
After Bruce's changes in LFS, for the moment my best advice is to
look at both stable and development BLFS, and also to be aware of what
has moved into development LFS.
If the package and version are in both, people using LFS-7.5 are
probably ok to follow the stable BLFS book. If the version in the
development book is newer, follow that. Some packages will be happy
with older versions of their dependencies, others will not (in
particular, glib2 cairo pango atk gdk-pixbuf, and gtk2 or at-spi2-*
and gtk3 need to be consistent.

Bruce, Ken, a lot of thanks to both of your.
I'm one of that who during months built Development BLFS over Stable LFS
simply because wasn't a stable BLFS. Luckyly there is one now.
I'll restart the building of Xorg following Stable BLFS (I've installed
it on a dedicated XORG_PREFIX and it will be easy) and I'll preserve the
packages previously installed at Development BLFS version. I hope
nothing will be broken.
I'll keep an eye on Development LFS.
