I did make comments : lame and gst-1.2.4 are working fine for me, gst-plugins-base-0.10 builds for me, but I cannot get sound with 0.10 so something, presumably in the gstreamer-0.10 stack, is still broken (even though it all compiles) - I used parole to test the 1.2.4 versions. In any case, libreoffice (not the version currently in the book, but the next one) is still broken on i686 according to Fernando. > -- Bruce > > P.S.
