I did make comments : lame and gst-1.2.4 are working fine for me,
gst-plugins-base-0.10 builds for me, but I cannot get sound with
0.10 so something, presumably in the gstreamer-0.10 stack, is still
broken (even though it all compiles) - I used parole to test the
1.2.4 versions.

In any case, libreoffice (not the version currently in the book,
but the next one) is still broken on i686 according to Fernando.

Nanny Ogg usually went to bed early. After all, she was an old lady.
Sometimes she went to bed as early as 6 a.m.
