I'm trying to get cheese to work with my camera, but keep getting an error:
cheese-WARNING **: Your GStreamer installation is missing a plug-in.
_create_stream_group ():
/GstCameraBin:camerabin/GstEncodeBin:video-encodebin:
Couldn't create encoder for format video/x-vp8
I have installed gst-plugins-{base,good,bad}-1.2.4 and also tried
installing libvpx-1.3.0. I did install all the optional dependencies
that are in the book, but not any of the external ones.
Does anyone have any ideas what's missing?
