Hi everyone. I've built LFS/BLFS system in VMware Player 9 virtual environment up to running KDE4. Everything looks fine exept one issue.
I'm experiencing trouble with desktop resolution. If I boot , login via graphical interface and then shut down the system with graphical interface it works just fine. However, If I change virtual screen resolution either with KDE settings, or with xrandr. or by resizing guest OS window, the system fails to shut down. The guest OS screen turns black and it does nothing. I can get focus on it, but can't do anything (change to another virtual terminal, send Ctrl+Alt+Del...). Is it a known issue? How can i trace it down?
